Victory is ours!!
CGW just finished first in the second annual float your boat for the food bank. We won with a time of 48 seconds. We also won the Modern Marvel award. The race was a fundraiser for the food bank and you can check out their website here: http://sharefoodbringhope.org/

October 4 Hacknight
We take stuff apart, we build things, make stuff work, and put cool stickers on our laptops.
A CD duplicator was disassembled. Brad’s CNC mill is coming along, every week closer to cutting, and his 3D printer got another job. (a small test print) -

At at the Jun 23 Columbia Gadget Works meeting we did some experiments with non Newtonian fluids. Ryan coated a speaker he had laying around in red plasti-dip to water proof it in hopes of using it again later. Unfortunately the speaker did not survive the tests. -

Hack Night
We have officially decided to go to the state fair!!! You can see us at the Show Me Robots tent. We saw many new faces tonight. The speaker from the last hack night was ripped apart discovering why it died. Scott showed off his cigar box amp.

Take apart night
We saw many new faces at this hack night. A printer was brought and decided to not work. A new idea was devised to shred old acrylic 3D printed plastic. Work was done on this idea, but there is still more to do. Many-a-things were taken apart.

Thursday may 3rd, CMKT 4
This next Thursday we will have the privilege to host CMKT at Brad’s shop. They will be bringing kits and to build for $15 so bring some money. It should be a lot of fun.

every one was picking locks, for many this was their first time. I think every one had a good time and much was learned.
